This is the 1953 stories of 3 lives travelled down the New
York Streets in Ann Devereaux' baby-blue '53 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Ann
left her philandering husband taking two sons, George (Logan Lerman) and Robbie
(Mark Rendall), with her. This movie had sometimes background voice of
George telling his life adventure following her Mom who's looking for a wealthy
future husband to support her life and sons. Until no 'gentlement' left
in the world who could be 'the man' of her family, they felt broken. But
they strengthened each other, Robbie was accepted by a movie producer.
George came back to his father to ask some money to survive. And Ann, in
her narcism, keep searching for a husband. George broke his heart knowing
his Dad did not have money.. and.. did not ever love him. Eventually,
George agreed with his little brother, Robbie, "Our mom is the one and
only I have". Still.. George loves his Dad, evenmore when they got
noticed that his Dad passed away from a heart attack. Live must go on,
George wanted desperately to study literature to be a writer just like Robbie
being so passionate to became an actor. Fortunately, George was awarded
by a scholarship, but.. unfortunately his first day school was not exciting..
he felt he did not belong to it. He stepped out and came back to his 'one and
only' in NY. There.. where he belongs. They had begun becoming a
great family supporting each other, Ann was no longer seeking a husband
eventhough she got many offers, George started become 'the man' for his family
by being an actor 'a post' that Robbie gave up and Robbie took his dream job as
fashion artists. "My one and only" had been happily ever
after.. :)
