Dian Latifah-beyond this name
Name is "a prayer from parents", we believe it.. "Dian" is originated in a "Sumatranese-Malayan" language meaning "a lantern" or "pelita" in Indonesian.. well, my naughty friends called me "sempor" after we got a "Sastra Indonesia" lesson in a junior high school back long time a go and at the time my Language Teacher explained about a famous Indonesian Novel "Dian yang tak Kunjung Padam" (I read this novel already--I should mention). "Latifah" originally comes from "Arabic" Language, adopted from a charachter of Alloh "Lathiif" meaning "soft" (I wanna learn more about this actual meaning).. thanks to my parents for giving me such an amazing and fully-meaningful name..
